Joyful Noise Music School is dedicated to providing comprehensive, high quality music education to all interested students regardless of age, ability and means.

 

Just as music lessons make a difference in the life of a child, it makes a difference who the music teacher is, their ability to teach, inspire and be a role model for  youngsters. Faculty members of the Joyful Noise Music School are artists who have won distinction as performers and as teachers in the United States and abroad. Their character is guaranteed. They are all success stories in their own right.

Joyful Noise Music School offers:

 

Private Instruction in Instruments and Voice

 

Group Classes: Theory, Chamber Music, Chime Band and Chorus

 

Music School students may participate in group classes and ensembles free of charge, unless otherwise noted.  Others are welcome to register for a nominal fee. Instructions and classes will be offered according to the availability of teachers and the students.

Mrs. Margaret M. Kim has spent her entire adult life as a music minister and educator.  She has Bachelor of Music Degrees for both church music and piano and has a Master of Music Degree in piano. She studied at Concordia College, Columbia University/Teachers College, The Juilliard School of Music, The New England Conservatory - Graduate School and Seoul National University - College of Music and Graduate School.

Tuition & Fees:

Annual Registration Fee-$30 per each household

Holy Trinity Lutheran Church Members(who participate in worship services regularly and support the ministry financially) and their children receive member discount.

 

30 minutes- $30, members- $20

45 minutes- $45, members- $30

60 minutes- $60, members- $40

 

Payable Monthly at the First Lesson

 

Annual Book Charge- $50 per household, the balance will be refunded at the end of the school year. You will be billed when more books are needed.

 

Ten per cent discount for each additional registration for individual instruction in a family.

 

Returned Check Fee- $50.00

Students who receive private lessons are entitled to have group classes free.

Practice Piano will be provided.  Other students should bring their own or rented instruments. Please ask for rental information.

 

New Students and their parents/guardian are required to have an interview with the Director before you are allowed to register.
