Go to the "Luther Scholars" page for examples of the scholars I read in my research into a pneumatological concept of justification. The other links lead to the papers I have written recently, beginning with an essay I wrote applying to my Ph.D. program. The others I have written since joining. They are posted here for peer review, and would love to hear from my fellow students.

All are related in some way to Luther and the ideas he championed. In my opinion Luther continues to be widely misunderstood, i.e., that God does more than declare us righteous, God makes us righteous. Biblically discerning how God makes us righteous is  pneumatological Christology and a Christological pneumatology (Moltmann). For myself, this is the most interesting area of theological research, and I expect it to be very fruitful in the upcoming decade.
